round four - killers

[Once again, you awaken in your host's body at some point during the night. While the innocents in your room continue sleeping deeply, you head out into the hallway and enter the darkened room, where your fellow spirits are already gathering.
Though none of you were executed this week, only six people enter the room tonight. It seems that your fellow spirit that had been possessing Klavier Gavin really has vanished. But perhaps not all hope has been lost. Everything in this place comes at a price...and one of you may have been paid in full.
When you're ready, the boxes and lighter in the center of the room await. Who will be the next victim?]
(OOC: As a reminder, the rules and submission post for killers can be found here!)

However, everything in this place must come at a price. For every person the cat grants protection to, it takes away from someone else. You know these names as well - if you kill someone who's been left vulnerable, your case could get a lot more complicated in your favor.]

Klavier isn't vulnerable, but I say we teach them a lesson and kill him.

...Though, do we know what the consequences will be if we pick one of the ones who aren't vulnerable?

It's more important we all make it out of here than punishing some stupid jerk!

He wants to punish the stupid jerk now.]
So who do you think we should vote for, if not our personal little traitor?

Striking now isn't the best idea, is it? I really want to see their suffering faces after this... So giving him a while to think that he'll get out of everything all right - making everyone else think that they've actually succeeded and then pulling that out from under them... Won't that get a better reaction?

Keh. That's true... But it's a shame to let Klavier go at all, even if his brief week of freedom will lead to inevitable death.

I think it would be worth it in the end, even if it might be insufferable to spend more time around him... It's just another week, right? And in that time, he can become a symbol of hope for them. The longer he lives, the more devastating it will be for the rest when he dies. The less optimistic among them are probably expecting us to kill him next, anyway.

Then we can wait. As much as I want to see him torn apart now... [He breathes a bit heavily.] I can wait.

Patience is a virtue that is often rewarded. I think this is our best decision for now. Shall we discuss our possible targets for this week, then?

You don't have good luck at all. ...Still, one victory can't possibly lead to complete confidence in a person like that, right? All we need to do is shake that confidence hard enough to shut her up.
