But where I'm from at least when someone dies their soul splits into two parts. The lower soul [She puts a hand on her chest as if indicating to herself] stays behind and can possess objects or affect the emotions of humans while the higher soul [She motions towards her phantom half, that strangely never stopped being a thing even though she's now full phantom] ascends to the afterlife to get reincarnated.
